Families must first be a registered member of the CenTex Christian Homeschool Community to register for Chargers sports.

HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Create a **FREE SportsEngine Account through this site (if you do not already have one)
2. Visit the CenTex Christian Homeschool Coalition website to join (a $30 membership fee applies, and it could take up to 24hrs for approval) or login if you are already a member. 
3. Once you are logged into their member site, you will find the registration links listed under "Chargers" on the main menu bar.

Current Teams

Six-Man Tackle Football is for boys that are ages 11-18 by September 1 of the current year. Season runs August to November with playoffs first of November. Registration will typically open anywhere from mid-June to mid-July. Practices are typically in the late afternoon/early evening during the week in the Temple area with games mostly on Friday and some on Thursday or Saturday. 

Lady Chargers Volleyball is for girls that are ages 12-18 by September 1 of current year. Season runs August through mid-October. Registration will typically open anywhere from mid-June to mid-July. Practices are on Monday and Wednesday mornings in the Temple area with games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Each team will typically have at least one weekend tournament.

Basketball is for boys that are ages 12-18 by September 1 of the current year. Season runs October- mid-February. Registration will typically open at the end of September. Practices are typically Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday late afternoon/early evening in the Temple/Salado area. Games can be on any of those nights as well with many high school games on Friday evening. 

2024-25 Team Registration Information

► 2024 Fall Six-Man Tackle Football Registration: Now Closed!! You must first be logged into the CenTex Christian Homeschool Coalition Website, then select "Chargers" from the menu bar, and then select "TEAM Registration". 

• Open to Boys ages 11-18 by Sept 1 to meet the age requirements
• Cost: $325/Player 
• Registration includes USE of a football uniform and gear. These items must be returned at the end of the season.

► 2024 CenTex Lady Chargers Volleyball Team Registration (High and Middle School) - Now Closed! Rosters are FULL and there are NO open spots!

• Open to Girls ages 12-18 by Sept 1 to meet the age requirements
• Cost: $225/Player 
• Registration includes USE of a volleyball uniform that must be returned at the end of the season.

► 2024-25 CenTex Chargers Boys Basketball Team Registration (High and Middle School) - Boys must attend an open gym to be considered for the teams as spaces are limited!

• Open to boys ages 12-18 by Sept 1 to meet the age requirements
• Cost: $300/Player 
• Registration includes USE of a basketball uniform that must be returned at the end of the season.

Sports Physicals Required to Participate in Chargers Sports

You may download the Chargers Sports Physical Form below, fill in the allowed information digitally before printing, add your signatures, and take the second page to your doctor to have him/her complete that form. Once both pages are complete, please make a copy of the entire form and give the copy to your coach. Keep the original in the event anything happens to the copy the coach has. Your Sports Physical is good for one year of Chargers Sports, and you may use the same completed form for additional Chargers Sports. Physicals must be completed by the first game of the season.
